Any visitor to Ennerdale from a few years back will recognise immediately the Anglers Hotel. Sadly the Inn no longer exists as it was knocked down to prepare for the flooding/deepening of the lake (which provides tap water for west Cumbria). And after it was knocked down, it was decided not to go ahead with the enlargement of the lake!.
